What have you enjoyed the most whilst studying your course?

Unit 11 Drug development, I learnt about the discover of Penicillin and the in-depth trials that were taken worldwide. Unit 4 Genetics learning about how genotypes and phenotypes determining the characteristics of the offspring. 

Have you had any challenges and how did you overcome them?

Unit 21 Titration practical and calculations. Finding moles from volume and concentration vice versa. I overcame this by reading and familiarising myself. All three of my teachers helped me to perfect titrations.

How do you find the teachers?

My teachers were patient and willing to go over areas I struggled with many times. They pushed me to my limits and I am grateful that they did and saw the potential in me.

How did you manage during Covid?

Covid demotivated me. I felt bored and restless. I was able to change my mindset and reflect. I become a different person at HPS6F. I become a different person at HPS6F. I didn’t fit in my previous schools and had a few bumpy rides. I saw the light and was motivated to do as well for myself because the teachers believed in me. I researched into my future career and found out what grades I needed into further education. 

How would say to encourage a student thinking of applying here? What would you say?

Being in a small class I got a lot of undivided attention, and able to work at a nice pace through the units.

To study a Masters in Pharmacy at Brighton University.
