Harris Sixth Form Results 2017
Posted on: 21/08/2017The Harris Sixth Form, which comprises nine academies across Southwark, Croydon, Bexley and Merton, has once again improved its results. At least 16% of students will be going to Russell group universities, well above the national average of 11%, with over 80% of students who applied gaining the required grades to go to their first choice of university.
In A level, we had 974 entries and a 99.2% pass rate. The percentage of A*/A grades is up from 12% last year to 17% this year and the percentage of A*-C is up to 73% from 70% last year. Vocational results also maintained previous years’ high standards, with over 85% Distinction/Distinction*.
Our Harris Experience Advanced programme, created to support students in gaining places at top universities, has enabled students to gain access to the best universities in the country.
- 67% of students who accepted an offer by a Sutton Trust 13 university have achieved entry this year, up from 45% in 2016;
- At least 80% of Harris Experience students have achieved entry into Russell Group universities;
- Harris Sixth Form admissions into King’s College London have more than doubled from last year. Students have achieved places at top universities including Bristol, Durham, Southampton, UCL, Warwick, and Birmingham.
