Pic 4Harris Professional Skills 6th Form students were full of anticipation for their Level 3 results. Karena’s hard work paid off as she managed to gain a Triple distinction in Health and Social Care and will be starting South Bank University to study social work.

“I loved being at Professional Skills 6th Form. The teachers were very supportive and approachable and went the extra mile to help me through the course. It also felt like a community at Professional Skills which made studying easier and enjoyable.” 

Ruona, also a Health and Social Care student was overjoyed with her Triple M and has a place secured at the University of Hertfordshire to study Midwifery.

Fahmiya, another Health and Social Care student managed to gain a DMM and is going to Middlesex University to study Midwifery. She felt that during her time at Harris Professional Skills 6th form that she was, “valued, respected and the teaching was amazing!”

Akhlaaq was a business student and received a triple distinction. “My Business teacher taught clearly with a good structure incorporating more of a practical outlook than just theory.”

Akhlaaq has already set up an online business called Tech-Bites selling technical products from high end laptops, gaming PCs, headphones, mobiles phones and cases. He took his own initiative by researching and looking at YouTube videos to create his website.

David was a CTECH Media student and obtained a triple distinction and was proud to announce that he will be starting the University of Herefordshire to study Film and TV production and would like to be a film director one day. “When the group went through challenging times with some of the units in Media, Mr James motivated us and kept us focused throughout”.
